Form- the visible shape or configuration of something.
Line- a long, narrow mark or band.
Color- the property possessed by an object of producing
different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or
emits light.

Principles
of Design- Visual Design elements and principles
describe fundamental ideas about the practice of good visual design. As William Lidwell stated in
Universal Principles of Design:
The best designers sometimes disregard the principles of design.
Space- a continuous area or expanse that is free, available,
or unoccupied.
Repetition- the action of repeating something that has already
been said or written.
Emphasis- special importance, value, or prominence given to
something.
Movement- an act of changing physical location or position or of
having this changed.
Pattern- a repeated decorative design.
Proportion- a part, share, or number considered in comparative
relation to a whole.
Rhythm- a strong, regular, repeated pattern of movement or
sound.
Unity- the state of being united or joined as a whole.
Variety- the quality or state of being different or diverse;
the absence of uniformity, sameness, or monotony.
